CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MATH TEAM on their fine performance at the ICTM Regionals on Saturday!  

Eleven students qualified for the state competition at U of I.

In Algebra I, Lizzie Krausz qualified as an individual.

The Algebra II team of Karaghan Daiber, McKenna Daiber, Haileigh Gilley, Ryan Gladden, Jamie Kattenbraker, and Jason Kattenbraker qualified as a team.

The Calculator team of Nate Brede, Ryan Gladden, Kyle Hurst, Carson Wessel, and Trey Marks also qualified.

Other notable performances at regionals:

Algebra I Team ~ 2nd Place ~ Chloe Brede, Ian Henderson, Gavin Hill, Lizzie Krausz, Brady Kuhl, and Trey Marks.

Oral Competition ~ 2nd Place ~ Owen Henderson and Ryan Gladden  

PreCalculus Team ~ 3rd Place ~ Kelsey Bray, Nate Brede, Lydia Gajewski, Owen Henderson, Rachel Terwilliger, and Alicia Trimble

SPRING SPORTS ATHLETES: Reminder that your sports physicals and athletic paperwork are due in the office prior to your practices this afternoon.

 

FIRST PRIORITY: Tomorrow morning First Priority will be hosting two guest speakers. Come and join us at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Brede's room.  We will have donuts too!

 

BASS FISHING MEETING: This Wednesday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the lobby.

 

BAND/CHORUS POPS CONCERT: Thursday, February 28, 7:00 p.m., in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited to attend!

 

FRESHMAN CLASS FUNDRAISER: Freshmen are currently selling Auntie Anne’s pretzels, cookies, and other baked goods.  Don’t forget the top three sellers will win prizes.  The profits fund class floats, your class trip, and Prom.  Fundraising forms and money are due back to Mr. Burcham or Mrs. O’Rear by Friday March 1st.  You must sell $40 worth of goods to be eligible for class trip.

GUIDANCE NEWS . . .

*NEW: A representative from Greenville University will be here this Wednesday, February 27th, at 9 a.m. to meet with interested juniors and seniors.  Sign up in the guidance office if you would like to meet with the rep.
