Today is the last day to vote in the SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT CONTEST – Please vote for Wesclin on the Aviston Lumber Facebook page one time a day through February 8! Winning school receives $1,500; second place $500!

 

Reminder to all volleyball players to sign up and volunteer for the 7th Grade Volleyball tournament that is being held at the MS on February 23rd & 24th.  Sign Up sheet is outside Coach Musso's office.  See Coach Musso if you have any questions.

 

Congratulations to the following FFA members that won Section 22 Foundation awards base on their SAE record books. Advancing to the District competition are: Jacob Fuhler, John Bohn, Kurt Litteken, Noah Marlar, and Bryan Knopp.

GOURMET CLUB VALENTINE COOKIEGRAM SALES are currently going on. Cost is $2.00. You can order one for yourself or send one to someone special. See any Gourmet Club member to order. Last day to order is Monday, February 12, and will be delivered on Valentine’s Day at lunch.

 

Shop club will meet TODAY from 2:50-3:45.

 

Girls Soccer meetingTODAY during Advisory in the Wi-Fi area. This meeting is for any girls interested in playing soccer this spring or any girls with questions about the team.

 

There will be a sophomore class officer meeting TODAY during advisory in Mrs. Heap's room.

 

The sophomore class has been changed to Tuesday, Feb 13th during advisory. Report to advisory first for attendance and then be released to the cafeteria.

 

WINTER SPORTS PEP ASSEMBLY – Thursday, February 15, during Advisory

 

Seniors stop by the guidance office for new scholarship information.  This update includes the Trenton and New Baden Chamber of Commerce Scholarships and the Be Ben Strong Scholarship.

 

Students taking dual credit classes this is a reminder that the date to drop a class for dual credit is February 13th.  If you need to withdraw from the dual credit portion of a class see Mrs. Fisher for a drop form.

 

DIVERSITY DRESS UP THEMES

Friday – Athletics – School or Professional Teams. Show your school spirit by wearing a shirt supporting any one of our athletic teams or Black & Orange. Wesclin hats only allowed.

 

CHARITY CAUSE

Collections will be received on Friday during Advisory for the Trevor Project.  A Diversity Club member will come around to get them.  Thanks!  https://www.thetrevorproject.org

 

CLASH OF THE CLASSES:  Starting Monday the 12th through Thursday the 15th, STUCO will be hosting the CLASH OF THE CLASSES! On Thursday each class will compete in minute-to-win-it-like games during the Winter Sports Pep Assembly in Advisory. Sign-up sheets for the games are on the bulletin board. MAY THE BEST CLASS WIN!!

            Monday – Wear your favorite team’s jersey

            Tuesday – Wear your best flannel

            Wednesday – Wear pink or red to celebrate Valentine’s Day

            Thursday – WHACK OUT!

LifeSavers: Mark your calendars.  Our Lock-in will be held on Thursday, February 15th from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
