We are looking for 6 students that would like to be tour guides for Freshman Orientation next week Wednesday, Jan. 24th.  If interested see Mrs. Fisher or Mrs. Humphrey.

 

Gourmet Club will meet next Tuesday at 7:40 in the foods lab.  We will be planning a coffee bar and Valentine Cookie Sale.  If you are unable to attend, please check Classroom next Tuesday.

 

Reminder Softball Open Gym this Sunday in the Middle School South Gym from 11-1. If you have any questions or cannot make it, see Coach Musso.

 

Special Olympics Basketball will be held at Wesclin on Sunday, January 28. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign the list in the office.

 

Clinton Co. Electric Cooperative is again sponsoring the "Youth to Springfield" and "Youth to Washington" programs.  They will sponsor 12 sophomore or junior students whose parents receive electricity from them to attend an all-expense paid trip to Springfield on April 18th.  During the day students will meet their elected senators and representatives at the Capitol and learn first-hand about the workings of state government.  In addition students will tour the Supreme Court and other historic sites.  Of the 12 students attending 2 will be selected for an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. this summer.  For an application see Mrs. Fisher.

 

Spanish club will be meeting on Thursday, 25 January at 7:40 a.m. in room 207. 

 

Environmental Club is currently in search for those who care for the environment. We are looking for students who are willing to leave advisory to help assist with removing recycling materials from the classroom recycling bins. FEDERAL IMPACT AID FORMS – if you have not turned in your form yet, please do so ASAP. We would like them returned by ALL students whether you have a parent working on federal property or not. Please return them to your first hour teacher.
